Beta terms

The service

RateMyApp is an early beta for organizing app testing, private feedback and community star ratings. You must have permission to list the app you submit. Use accurate information and test only through official distribution or beta links. Availability of compatible testers, feedback quality, store acceptance and commercial results are not guaranteed.

Credits and assignments

Beta credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred outside approved testing work. Each claimed test reserves 30 credits from its owner. Approval rewards the tester once. Cancellation or expiration before submission returns the reservation. Owners should judge task completion and evidence rather than positive sentiment.

Purchases and refunds

Credit packs are one-time purchases in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe when enabled; card details are handled by the payment provider. Credits are delivered after confirmed payment. Buying credits does not guarantee a tester, a completion date or a public store rating. For an unused-credit refund request, email reach@ratemyapp.io or use Profile → Report an issue. Refunded credits are removed; spent credits from a refund are recovered from future earnings or purchases. These terms do not limit applicable consumer rights.

Referral credits

Verified members can invite new developers through a personal link. One referrer is recorded when a new account is created. The referrer earns 30 credits after the invited account verifies its email, plus 20% of the credits bought on each confirmed purchase, rounded down to whole credits. Refunded purchases reverse a proportional purchase bonus, rounded up; spent bonus credits are recovered from future credits. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and accounts created to farm rewards are not eligible. Do not send unsolicited bulk invitations. Referral credits have no cash value and never depend on public store reviews or positive ratings.

Public ratings and community conduct

Community ratings on RateMyApp are optional and do not affect testing credit rewards. Critical ratings remain visible even when an owner rejects a report. Do not require, purchase, coordinate or reward public store reviews or ratings through RateMyApp. Do not use fabricated evidence, multiple accounts to farm credits, harassment or private information belonging to someone else. You can block a developer and report an issue from the workspace.

Beta limitations

One-time credit packs are offered when checkout is connected. The product may change during the beta. Issue reports are stored for operator review, but response times are not guaranteed. Email verification and password recovery require email delivery to be connected. Operators can review issues and pause listings. Social sign-in and automated moderation are not included. You remain responsible for the platform rules that apply to your app.
