Include the facts that affect eligibility

Name the platform, build availability and any country, operating-system or account requirement. Explain how the participant will receive access and where to report a problem. If the app handles sensitive information, say whether dummy data is required. Keep a secure route for test credentials rather than posting passwords in a public community or a shared invitation document.

Ask for one bounded task

Give a clear starting point and stopping point. A participant can reasonably agree to creating a project and finding it later; ‘test every feature’ is an undefined commitment. State the observations you need without teaching every tap if the purpose is usability. Make evidence requests proportionate, explain screenshot redaction and clarify how any research reward is approved.

Respect the audience and follow-up permission

Read community rules before posting, disclose that you own or work on the app and avoid sending repeated unsolicited messages. Ask whether the person wants future build notifications. Keep public store reviews voluntary and unrewarded. After receiving a report, acknowledge it and give a specific follow-up rather than treating testers as a distribution list for every promotional announcement.

Please report [observations] through [private route], using dummy data and redacted screenshots. [Research reward and acceptance criteria, if any.] No public review is required. Reply if you want access.’ Replace the brackets with verified details before posting.
